Trap Door

It has taken several years for seasoned record diggers to slowly demystify the tracklisting for this international psychedelic mystery mix. This is actually the second volume within Dis-Joint Records’ Trap Door series, and the first to receive a vinyl pressing.

From the start, the album submerges the listener into a dark brooding world of psychedelia and soul. Fragments of obscure prog rock, instrumentals, moody soul and high octane grooves are seamlessly mixed with voice tracks, crashes of thunder, creepy cackles and other sound effects of the bizarre variety. Props to the collaborative effort from the Soul Stut community that managed to identify 14 of the 18 tracks over the course of the last six years.
