Leftovers

Hailing from Brisbane, The Leftovers were one of Australia’s first punk rock bands in the vein of the Sex Pistols. Their debut “Cigarettes And Alcohol” 45 is an extremely rare and highly sought after record. There were 500 copies pressed in 1979, although the band destroyed a large, unsubstantiated number of them. According to legend, the record had a picture sleeve, although they were left in the back of a taxi and only an estimated dozen are believed to exist. Some copies had “The Fucken Leftovers Hate You” stamped on it’s sleeve.
 
Aparently, all members of the Leftovers are currently either dead or serving time in prison.
