Haiti Direct: Big Band, Mini Jazz & Twoubadou Sounds, 1960-1978

Compiled by Hugo Mendez of the Sofritos label, Haiti Direct is perhaps the strongest compilation to focus upon the unique sounds of Haiti. Most of the records featured on this compilation were recorded in Haiti, pressed in the US and marketed to ex-pats within the US, Canada, France and French Caribbean.
